Procedure of the Third Day - SBMBNU'26
Comments From Editor
So far, a lot of amazing work has been done. In the past two days, everyone worked with passion and commitment, in order to make this edition of SBMBNU the best among other editions. Even though new delegates just seemed at first as if they didn't know anything about the world of MUN, after these 2 days, it’s obvious that they have made very significant progress. Regarding the General Assembly, which will be held today, I’m sure they will show themselves well and how much they progressed after these two inspiring days. In every condition, we will keep this as a good memory. Hope to see you at SBMBNU’27.

The Last Committee Session Before the General Assembly
After two days of preparation, our GA committees finalised their resolutions in demanding conditions with conflicts of ideas and long-lasting debates. Despite the procedure, each GA committee had just a wonderful resolution regarding the topic of this year’s conference. So each resolution passed during the GA. It was a great opportunity for our new delegates to see how a General Assembly works, how to behave when asking a challenging POI, how to yield the floor to the chair, and so forth.
Closing Ceremony
Even though something gives you pleasure, it always comes to a definitive end. So, we have to officially close SB-MBNU’26. The ceremony started with speeches from each member of the chairboard, followed by the best delegate awards for each committee. Then, the closing speeches of the executive team were given. Shouldn’t forget M. John either. As the advisor of the school MUN club, he made a speech in English this time. Director of the school M. Masin didn’t leave us alone in this inspiring ceremony, then he also made a speech. Was it completely done? Of course not! It’s time for the election of a new executive team, as three members of the existing team have to leave the club next year.
Here’s the new executive team elected by the former presidents starting from now on:
Alaz Ç., the secretary general gives his place to→ Yiğit Bedir Ö., a 10th grade student, also president chair of the GA1 during SBMBNU’26
Ada K., the president of the GA gives her place to→ Zeynep A., a 9th grade student, also the deputy chair of the GA6 during the SBMBNU’26
Selen A., the secretary general gives her place to→ Birce Zarife T., a 9th grade student, also the deputy chair of the GA1
Berkay K., the head of press gives his place to→ Sarp A., a 9th grade student, thanks to his collaboration with the former president from the start of the year.

Closing Notes:
It seems like we came to the end of what was a fascinating conference. Some of us had their first ever MUN conference, some of us were more experienced but again developed our debating skills. Some of us became club presidents. Regarding these results, it’s very clear that this year’s conference was a more spontaneously integrated bilingual development for the school MUN club. We thank all distinguished delegates, our honourable chairs, our advisors M. John, Mme Hatice et Mme Yasemin, the school personnel who cleaned up after a conference day and of course our administrative team, especially M Masin.
We hope you enjoyed the conference. We're glad to invite you to the SB-MBNU’27
We wish you all a great school year and a great summer holiday.
